About

Currently I am working as flash game developer at wooga, Berlin. Within a fast growing international team we are developing Facebook games targeting countries all over the world. The games are developed in short iterations. My main focus is to implement strong, reliable gaming architectures. Because these games run over a long period of time, maintainability becomes a key aspect for success.

Until August of 2010, I worked as software developer at Powerflasher GmbH – a multimedia agency located in Aachen, Germany. I designed and developed innovative large scale applications and libraries. Typically they were realized with Flash (ActionScript), Flex or Air technology. There, my special concern was also to write reusable, maintainable and reliable code with the help of agile development techniques. Before switching over to my new job in Berlin, I held a successful one month summer camp where I shared my knowledge to new employees of Powerflasher.

Beside the programming I convey my knowledge with trainings, lectures and talks. Until 2010 I was assistant lecturer at the Hochschule Harz in Wernigerode and teached Flash Technology and Game Development with FDT (development environment).

If you are interested in my trainings or CV, please contact me.
